The primary steps to a professional carpet cleaning are:
- Thoroughly vacuum carpet
- Pre-spray a carpet cleaning solution onto the fibers
- Agitate with a groomer “rake” or rotary machine to work the solution into the fibers
- Dwell (Allowing solution to sit on fibers for 10 to 15 minutes)
- Extraction (We use Truck Mounted Extraction commonly refereed to as ”Steam Cleaning”)
- Final Groom to raise fibers in an upright position (on select fiber weaves)
Special spotting steps/procedures are used between steps 1&2 and 5&6 to remove stains that cleaning does not remove alone.
